This Ultimate Wetlands Safari tour portrays the Okavango Delta and the relatively unknown Kwando / Selinda ecosystem, part of the Linyanti, to provide a combination of 2 very different waterways for you to explore.

Depart Johannesburg and you will be met on arrival in Maun and board a light aircraft into the Okavango where you will spend the next 2 nights. The bush camp is situated in the area of deepwater channels and wide floodplains from where you can experience the best of the Okavango Delta.
You will be in time for lunch after which you can settle in before the afternoon activity. Activities include a boat cruise or a makoro ride through the channels and waterways and stop on an island for sundowners before returning to the lodge for dinner.
The activities during your stay in the Delta will depend on the water levels but the majority will be water-based and you can decide to do a boat cruise, a nature walk or a makoro ride. During times of low water, game drives will also be available.
Your safari guide will explain the intricacies of the Okavango to you and share some of the stories of his childhood. You will gain a fascinating insight into one of Earth's most pristine wilderness areas.
You will enjoy brunch at the bush camp after the morning activity and then you can relax with a spa treatment before the afternoon activity where you will experience more of the natural treasures of the Okavango. Night time in the Delta is full of sounds and scents of the nocturnal creatures and you can lie in bed listening to the dramas taking place.
Today you will fly over the Delta to the northern reaches of Botswana where you will spend the next 2 nights in the Selinda region of Linyanti, one of Africa's most underrated wilderness areas. Linyanti system, and is a haven for wildlife during the dry season when the water in the interior dries up.
The area is famous for its predators and in particular a strong population of African Wild Dog. You will explore the area on game drives and night drives.
Your day will start early and you will be waking to the sounds of the wilderness coming alive before heading out to explore more of this fascinating region. Getting an early start will ensure the best chance to see predators moving about.As the day warms up you will notice more and more animals heading to the water to drink.
Returning to the bush camp you will have brunch and then some time to relax and reflect on your experience. You may also decide to have a wellness spa treatment during your down time.The afternoon activity follows tea and coffee and will stretch into the evening where you will have the opportunity to view some of the rarely seen nocturnal creatures.
Sunset is a special time and you can savour the moment with a cocktail on the banks of the river before returning to the bush camp for dinner.
