9 day Authentic Rustic Romance Safari in Botswana

Days 1-3: Oddballs Camp, Okavango Delta, Botswana

Oddballs is one of the original camping sites in the Okavango Delta, and has dome tents set up on wooden platforms with amazing views over the flodplains. A number of ablution facilities are
scattered around the camp in proximity of the tents. The central dining area overlooks the Boro River, and provides excellent game viewing.

A comfortable lounge area and raised viewing platform is located on the banks of the River where you can enjoy the camp and the legendary 'Skull bar' where you will be regaled with adventure stories. Oddballs Camp offers activities ranging from walking and mokoro safris with your own guide to relaxing in the atmosphere of the delta. The Okavango Delta is home to over 450 bird species and Crocodile, Hippo, Elephant and Buffalo can be seen regularly.

Days 4 & 5: Pom Pom Camp, Okavango Delta, Botswana

Today you will leave for Pom Pom located in the heart of the Okavango Delta in a private concession to the west of the Moremi Game Reserve. Pom Pom offers 9 traditional safari tents, built and designed in the style of safari camps of old.

Pom Pom offers dining room and bar situated around a picturesque lagoon. Activities at Pom Pom include game drives, night drives, walking safaris and mokoro excursions. All the major predators, Buffalo, Giraffe, Zebra, and Wildebeest can be seen on activities.

Days 6 - 8: Chobe Safari Lodge, Chobe National Park, Botswana

Today you will fly to Kasane and transferred to Chobe Safari Lodge situated overlooking the Chobe River where you will spend the next two nights of your Botswana safari.

Activities at Chobe Safari Lodge include game drives, boat cruises with excellent game and bird viewing, nature walks, night drives, sundowner cruises, fishing and tours to Victoria Falls. The Chobe floodplain is renowned for its concentration of Buffalo and Elephant. The lodge also provides a swimming pool, volleyball court, a health and beauty salon and an internet café.

Day 9:

Your Rustic Romance Botswana safari ends with your transfer to Ksane airport or to Victoria Falls.

Please Note:

All charters have been booked on a seat on charter basis. Due to the nature of travel in light aircraft, mainly because of safety and space concerns, baggage is restricted to 12 kilograms (26 pounds), per person. This baggage must be soft sided so to allow for it to be packed properly.

If you do have extra bags or have suitcases heavier than the specified allowance, please advise your travel consultant as soon as the booking is made so that the needed arrangements can be made for the baggage to be transferred or stored at an additional cost.
