Days 1 & 2: Xugana Island Lodge, Botswana

Upon your arrival in Maun you will be met and escourted to your scheduled charter flight to Xugana Island Lodge on your Botswana Safari. Enjoy this awesome bird's eye view of the Okavango Delta, taking very special memories and moments of Africa with you that will stay with you forever.

The lodge accommodates just 16 guests in large raised reed and thatch chalets, situated on the shaded fringe of the island, each with a lagoon view through the lagoon-side vegetation.

Each chalet is twin bedded with en-suite facilities, showers, overhead fans and a private deck. 'His and hers' robes are provided. Your stay at Xugana Island Lodge is inclusive of accommodation, all meals, all local brand drinks, scheduled safari activities, park entrance fees and laundry.

Mokoro trips in eco-friendly dugout canoes, combined with walking, to surrounding lagoons and islands in the concession give guests the chance to experience a classic Botswana Okavango Delta safari. Bird-watching opportunities are outstanding, and fishing for bream and Tiger fish is also offered as an activity at the lodge.

Days 3, 4 & 5: Camp Moremi, Botswana

After an early breakfast you will depart from Xugana Island Lodge to Camp Moremi where you will spend three nights of your African safari. Although still in the delta Camp Moremi is very different in landscape and variety. Situated between desert and permanent delta Camp Moremi is perfectly located for a supreme wildlife adventure.

Camp Moremi accommodates only 22 guests in East African-style safari tents, individually situated on raised teak platforms. Each tent is exquisitely furnished with an African teak wardrobe, luggage rack, dressing table, bedside pedestals and traditional director's chairs.

Colourful woven rugs, designer linen and matching interior blinds complete your African hideaway. 'His and hers' towel robes as well as tea and coffee making facilities are also provided to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Each tent has its own private bathroom situated adjacent to the tent. Your stay at Camp Moremi is inclusive of accommodation, all meals, all local brand drinks, scheduled game-viewing activities, park entrance fees and laundry service.

Botswana Safari activities include tracking big game on morning and afternoon game drives by open 4x4 safari vehicle, excellent bird-watching, exploring the Xakanaxa Lagoon and surrounding Okavango channels by motorboat.

Days 6 & 7: Savute Safari Lodge, Botswana

After breakfast and your morning Botswana Safari activity (if time allows) you will depart on a charter flight from Camp Moremi to Savute Safari Lodge.

Savute Safari Lodge accommodates just 24 people in contemporary furnished twin-bedded luxury suites constructed of wood, thatch and glass, making them ideal for the hot and dry conditions. Double volume suites with their spacious interior and large, glass sliding doors set the lodge apart from typical Botswana safari accommodation.

Large private viewing decks and en-suite facilities, with showers, 'his and hers' towel robes and tea and coffee making facilities combine to make Savute Safari Lodge an unforgettable experience.

Your stay at Savute Safari Lodge is inclusive of accommodation, all meals, local brand beverages, laundry service, scheduled game-viewing activities and park entry fees. Game drives are in open 4x4 safari vehicles in the Savute area, including the Savute Marsh and a visit to the ancient San rock paintings at Gubatsa Hills.

Day 8: Depart

After your morning Botswana Safari game drive and breakfast (if time allows), you will depart Savute Safari Lodge on a scheduled charter flight to Kasane Airport.

Please Note:

All charters have been booked on a seat on charter basis. Due to the nature of travel in light aircraft, mainly because of safety and space concerns, baggage is restricted to 20 kilograms (44 pounds), per person. This baggage must be soft sided so to allow for it to be packed properly.

If you do have extra bags or have suitcases heavier than the specified allowance, please advise your travel consultant as soon as the booking is made so that the needed arrangements can be made for the baggage to be transferred or stored at an additional cost.
