Days 1 & 2: Sussi Lodge, Zambia

You will be transferred from Livingstone Airport to Sussi Lodge. You will spend 2 nights at Sussi Lodge on a fully inclusive basis, on your Southern Africa safari. Sussi Lodge and Chuma House are named after David Livingstone's faithful friends and consist of an exclusive, upmarket lodge and a spacious 2 bedroom villa.

Guest accommodation consists of 10 luxury tree-houses, built into the living canopy of giant Ebony trees lining the bank. Each unit has a private view of the Zambezi from its own deck among the branches. The main lodge building features a spectacular raised bar/lounge deck, open air dining area, swimming pool and lawns sweeping down to the water's edge on this Southern Africa safari.

Resident wildlife, such as Hippopotamus and Elephant, are likely to wander through the Lodge grounds at any time, since they have priority in the National Park. A wide choice of activities adds to the attractions of this elegant, secluded retreat on your Southern Africa safari.

Days 3 & 4: Chobe Game Lodge, Botswana

You will be transferred from Sussi Lodge to Chobe Game Lodge. You will spend 2 nights at Chobe Game Lodge on a fully inclusive basis. All the rooms at the lodge are river facing and air-conditioned and boasts overhead fans, complimentary mini bar, an en-suite bathrooms and tea and coffee making facilities.

All rooms have their very own private terrace. For those guests who demand the ultimate in exclusivity, Chobe Game Lodge has 4 river view suites, each with their own plunge pool and a separate lounge area.

Game drives are conducted in open sided 4x4 vehicles, ensuring maximum visibility. Game viewing on the Chobe River is conducted by small, shallow draft and highly manoeuvrable boats piloted by expert boatmen.

Days 5 & 6: Savute Safari Lodge, Botswana

You will be transferred from Chobe Game Lodge to Kasane Airport. From there you will get a scheduled charter flight from Kasane Airport to Savute Safari Lodge. Here you will spend 2 nights on a fully inclusive basis.

Savute Safari Lodge accommodates just 24 people in contemporary furnished twin-bedded luxury suites constructed of wood, thatch and glass, making them ideal for the hot and dry conditions. Double volume suites with their spacious interior and large, glass sliding doors set the lodge apart from typical Southern Africa safari accommodation.

Large private viewing decks and en-suite facilities, with showers, 'his and hers' towel robes and tea and coffee making facilities combine to make Savute Safari Lodge an unforgettable experience. Activities include game drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles in the Savute area, including the Savute Marsh, and a visit to the ancient San rock paintings at Gubatsa Hills.

Days 7 & 8: Camp Okavango, Botswana

You will be chartered from Savute Safari Lodge to Camp Okavango. Two nights will be spent at Camp Okavango on a fully inclusive basis. Camp Okavango accommodates only 24 guests in intimate exclusivity in East African-style safari tents individually situated on raised teak platforms with en-suite facilities and private sun decks.

Each tent is exquisitely furnished with an African teak wardrobe, luggage rack, dressing table, bedside pedestals and traditional director's chairs. Colourful woven rugs, designer linen and matching interior blinds complete your African hideaway.

'His and hers' towel robes as well as tea and coffee making facilities are also provided to make guests' stay as comfortable as possible. For those who demand the ultimate in exclusivity, Camp Okavango boasts the 'Okavango Suite' a thatched cottage offering complete privacy and the option of private game-viewing activities and dining options – ideal for Honeymooners.

All game-viewing activities are conducted by experienced professional guides and include exploring the Okavango by canoe (mokoro) and motorboat. Guided nature walks on the various islands afford an opportunity to track some of the larger species that inhabit this water wilderness. Bird-watching opportunities are outstanding, and fishing for Bream and Tiger fish is also offered as an activity at the lodge.

Days 9 & 10: Deception Valley Lodge, Kalahari Game Reserve, Botswana

Take a scheduled charter flight from Camp Okavango to Deception Valley Lodge. You will receive 2 nights accommodation at Deception Valley Lodge on a fully inclusive basis.

Each unit consists of luxury twin bedded room with en-suite Victorian style bathroom, an outside shower and a private spacious lounge. For your convenience a hairdryer, shaving plugs and bathrobe is standard.

All units are fitted with ceiling fans and mosquito nets. A private mini-bar will to ensure your comfort during a relaxing afternoon siesta. After a night-cap, turn in for a peaceful sleep nestled among the comfortable and safe surroundings of the lodge.

Interact with the Bushmen of the Kalahari on one of the Cultural walks at Deception Valley Lodge. At Deception Valley Lodge you can experience the vastness of the Kalahari while enjoying some of the most prolific bird life or even do some star gazing at night.

Days 11 & 12: Baines Camp, Botswana

You will be chartered from Deception Valley Lodge to Baines Camp. Two nights are spent at Baines Camp on a fully inclusive basis. Set amongst the shady trees and water of the Okavango Delta, the small and intimate Baines' Camp features just 5 luxurious suites set on elevated platforms in the tree line.

Wooden decks offer expansive views over the permanent water of the Boro River and a lagoon teeming with life. Baines' Camp is located on the Boro River on the private concession NG32 neighbouring the Moremi Game Reserve.

The elevated suites feature a spacious bedroom with softly draped fabrics, adding a romantic touch of the bygone era. The four-poster beds are fully mobile, giving guests the choice of sleeping under the star laden skies. Avid astronomers will delight in stargazing from the privacy of their own deck during their Botswana safari.

The main area features an oversize deck for outdoor dining, with views over the permanent water of the lagoon, as well as a swimming pool for refreshing sunbathing during your Southern Africa safari.

Day 13: Depart

You take a scheduled charter flight from Baines Camp to Maun Airport.

Please Note:

All charters have been booked on a seat on charter basis. Due to the nature of travel in light aircraft, mainly because of safety and space concerns, baggage is restricted to 20 kilograms (44 pounds), per person. This baggage must be soft sided so to allow for it to be packed properly.

If you do have extra bags or have suitcases heavier than the specified allowance, please advise your travel consultant as soon as the booking is made so that the needed arrangements can be made for the baggage to be transferred or stored at an additional cost.
