Leave behind Windhoek for a change of scenery and to embark on an unforgettable journey to Etosha National Park which will take 4-5 hours. Upon arrival in Etosha National Park area, you will be met by your Nomad Tour Leader who orientate you with the tour, your truck and fellow travellers.
You leave the white sands of Etosha behind and journey towards the Kavango River, entering the vast Kavango–Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area. Spanning five countries, including parts of your route through Botswana and Zimbabwe, this is one of the world’s largest protected areas, renowned for its diverse wildlife and rich ecosystems. Your overnight stop in Divundu offers an immersive introduction to this remarkable natural haven.
This morning, you enjoy a leisurely boat cruise along the tranquil waters of the Kavango River, soaking up the serene scenery, abundant birdlife, and perhaps spotting hippos or crocodiles basking along the banks. In the afternoon, you have the option to embark on a game drive in Mahangu National Park, a hidden gem celebrated for its rich biodiversity and regular sightings of elephants, buffalo, antelope and even elusive big cats.
Today you will cross the border into Botswana and head towards the gateway to the Okavango Delta, the town of Maun. You overnight in Maun before heading for your next adventure – The Okavango Delta.

Your 2-day excursion of the Okavango Delta starts today. You travel onwards towards the Okavango Delta. Early risers may choose to take an optional scenic flight over the Delta, weather and timing permitting, for a breathtaking aerial perspective of this iconic wilderness.
After your optional flight, you are collected in Maun and transferred to the Khwai Conservation Area in smaller safari-style vehicles. On arrival, your guide prepares you for the afternoon mokoro excursion, offering insight into what to expect as you glide quietly into the heart of the Okavango Delta.
The Delta is a result of what happens when the Okavango River flows in the Kalahari Desert, and you can discover the secrets that are hidden between its intricate channels on an exciting excursion.
Your accommodation in Khwai is a rustic mobile fly camp, offering an authentic safari experience close to nature. Your Meru-style tent is furnished with two single beds and a private en-suite featuring a bucket shower system and a chemical toilet.

Today is a full-day game drive, with most of your time spent exploring the wilderness of Moremi Game Reserve in search of the many species that roam its plains. Expect some bumpy stretches as you traverse this rugged landscape in a 4×4 vehicle, part of the authentic safari experience.
With habitats ranging from wetlands and open waterways to grasslands and savannah woodland, the reserve offers exceptional biodiversity, giving you the chance to encounter a wide variety of flora and fauna. This evening, you return to Khwai to share stories and compare the day’s remarkable wildlife sightings.
The Botswanan salt pans are passed on the route from Khwai to Nata today. The stunning scenery and rich cultural legacy of Botswana are on display throughout the picturesque trip from Maun to Nata. A wildlife encounter or two is always possible before you get at your overnight site near Nata, so keep an eye out.

Today you travel from the Nata Kalahari Sands to Kasane, arriving in time for lunch and a short nap before setting out in the afternoon to explore the wildlife-rich Chobe National Park from the river. You will take a leisurely boat safari that gives a close-up look at the many elephants that frequent the river in the afternoons.
