Classic Colonial Chobe Fly-in Safari Experience

Expect sweeping vistas, excellent game sightings, adventurous activities as well as luxurious and stylish accommodation during your 3 day Classic Colonial Chobe Fly-in Safari. You will spend 2 nights at a luxury lodge which is the only lodge uniquely situated on the banks of the Chobe River in Botswana's famous Chobe National Park.

Chobe National Park boasts the single largest concentration of Elephant in Africa up to 120 000 in the dry winter months, so be prepared for some regular sightings. You can enjoy exciting twice daily game drives and game viewing cruises on the river during your Botswana holiday.

On a sunset cruise down the Chobe River you’ll see many Hippo and Crocodiles. Game drives are conducted from either open safari vehicles or by motorboat, providing a wonderful game viewing experience.

Day 1: Johannesburg – Kasane – Chobe National Park

After arriving at Kasane Airport from Johannesburg you will be transferred to your game lodge which is situated inside Chobe National Park. The transfer takes place in a 4x4 vehicle and you’ll have the chance to spot some wildlife en-route. You will arrive in time to relax before heading out on a late afternoon game drive where you can see many animals such as Elephant and Buffalo.

Day 2: Chobe National Park

You will receive an early morning wakeup call before enjoying a cup of tea or coffee before heading out on the morning game drive. These are conducted in open 4x4 vehicles and are led by highly knowledgeable guides, who will help you spot animals such as Zebra, and the Chobe Bushbuck.

Returning to the game lodge after your morning safari activity, you’ll enjoy a delicious brunch. In the afternoon, you’ll have the opportunity to do some more game viewing, either on another game drive or go game viewing by boat up the Chobe River – a great way to see Hippo and Lechwe as well as any wildlife which come down to drink.

Day 3: Chobe National Park – Kasane – Johannesburg

This morning you will enjoy a final early morning game drive. After which you will have time enough to enjoy breakfast before checking-out and returning via road transfer to Kasane Airport for your flight back to Johannesburg.

Fly-In Option

This Botswana package tour is based on a 3 day trip for 2 guests sharing in en-suite accommodation, all inclusive with scheduled flights ex/to Johannesburg O.R. Tambo Airport.

The flights are scheduled on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sundays.

Rates are valid for 2012 / 2013 but may vary depending on the season and daily currency exchange rate.
