What to expect from this 11 day Exquisite Wildlife Safari Experience:
During this spectacular tour you get to visit Zambia, 'the real Africa' and Botswana; a land of unmarked natural beauty.
Accommodation at Sussi Lodge consists of 10 luxury tree-houses, built into the living canopy of giant Ebony trees lining the bank. From there you head to the luxurious Chobe Game Lodge. All the rooms have their very own private terrace. Chobe Game Lodge is perfect for those guests who demand the ultimate in exclusivity.
Savute Safari Lodge is the perfect wildlife location. Here you might be lucky to witness the dramatic struggle between Elephant herds and the large Lion pride dominating. The lodge accommodates just 24 people in luxury suites constructed of wood, thatch and glass.
Camp Okavango accommodates only 24 guests in intimate exclusivity in luxury East African-style safari tents. Your last lodge Mena A Kwena offers 7 Meru safari tents, all with private bathrooms and a sitting area in front of the tent, which offers a beautiful view over the river bed.

Days 1 & 2: Sussi Lodge, Victoria Falls, ZambiaYou will be transferred from Livingstone Airport to Sussi Lodge. You spend the next 2 nights of your Southern Africa safari at Sussi Lodge on a fully inclusive basis. Guest accommodation consists of 10 luxury tree-houses, built into the living canopy of giant Ebony trees lining the bank.
Each unit has a private view of the Zambezi from its own deck among the branches. The main lodge building features a spectacular raised bar/lounge deck, open air dining area, swimming pool and lawns sweeping down to the water's edge.
Resident wildlife, such as Hippopotamus and Elephant, is likely to wander through the lodge grounds at any time, since in the National Park they have priority. A wide choice of activities adds to the attractions of this elegant, secluded retreat on your Southern Africa safari.

Days 3 & 4: Chobe Game Lodge, BotswanaThere is a scheduled road transfer from Sussi Lodge to Chobe Game Lodge. You get 2 nights accommodation at Chobe Game Lodge on a fully inclusive basis. All the rooms at the lodge are river facing and air-conditioned with overhead fans, complimentary mini bar and en-suite bathrooms, each with tea and coffee facilities.
All rooms on this Botswana safari have their very own private terrace. For those guests who demand the ultimate in exclusivity, Chobe Game Lodge has 4 river view suites, each with their own plunge pool and a separate lounge area.
Game drives by open 4x4 safari vehicle, game viewing by motorboat or sunset cruises on the river cruiser the Mosi-oa-Tunya on the Chobe River. Stargazing and guided walks within the game fenced are also on offer on this magical Botswana safari.

Days 5 & 6: Savute Safari Lodge, BotswanaYou are transferred from Chobe Game Lodge to Kasane Airport; from there you take a charter flight from Kasane Airport to Savute Safari Lodge. Two nights will be spent at Savute Safari Lodge on a fully inclusive basis. Game drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles in the Savute area, including the Savute Marsh and a visit to the ancient San rock paintings at Gubatsa Hills.
Savute Safari Lodge accommodates just 24 people in contemporary furnished twin-bedded luxury suites constructed of wood, thatch and glass, making them ideal for hot and dry conditions. Double volume suites with their spacious interior and large, glass sliding doors set the lodge apart from typical safari accommodation.
Large private viewing decks and en-suite facilities, with showers, 'his and hers' towel robes and tea and coffee making facilities combine to make an unforgettable Botswana safari experience at Savute Safari Lodge.

Days 7 & 8: Camp Okavango, BotswanaToday there is a scheduled charter flight from Savute Safari Lodge to Camp Okavango. You get to stay at Camp Okavango on a fully inclusive basis for 2 nights. Camp Okavango accommodates only 24 guests in intimate exclusivity in East African-style safari tents individually situated on raised teak platforms with en-suite facilities and private sun decks.
Each tent is exquisitely furnished with an African teak wardrobe, luggage rack, dressing table, bedside pedestals and traditional director's chairs. Colourful woven rugs, designer linen and matching interior blinds complete your African hideaway.

For those who demand the ultimate in exclusivity, Camp Okavango boasts the 'Okavango Suite' a thatched cottage offering complete privacy and the option of private game-viewing activities and dining options – ideal for honeymooners.
All game-viewing activities are conducted by experienced professional guides and include exploring the Okavango by canoe (mokoro) and motorboat. Guided nature walks on the various islands afford an opportunity to track some of the larger species that inhabit this water wilderness. Bird watching opportunities are outstanding, and fishing for Bream and Tiger fish is also offered as an activity at the lodge.

Days 9 & 10: Leroo La Tau, BotswanaYou will be chartered from Camp Okavango to Maun Airport, and from there you will be transferred to Leroo LA Tau. You will be accommodated for 2 nights at Leroo LA Tau on a fully inclusive basis on this Botswana safari.
Leroo LA Tau is within the Makgadikgadi National Park not far from Nxai Pan National Park. The lodge offers 12 luxury en-suite chalets, all raised on wooden decks and offering views over the river bed.
Activities: Game drives and night drives are offered at Leroo La Tau with walking safaris and visits to a local village also offered.

Please Note:All charters have been booked on a seat on charter basis. Due to the nature of travel in light aircraft, mainly because of safety and space concerns, baggage is restricted to 20 kilograms (44 pounds), per person. This baggage must be soft sided so to allow for it to be packed properly.
If you do have extra bags or have suitcases heavier than the specified allowance, please advise your travel consultant as soon as the booking is made so that the needed arrangements can be made for the baggage to be transferred or stored at an additional cost.
