Days 1 & 2: Chobe Chilwero, Botswana

Upon your arrival in Botswana you will be transferred via road to Chobe Chilwero where you will be pampered for the next two days. The lodge sits on a hill overlooking the floodplains of the Chobe River and is the ideal base for exploring the northern reaches of the Chobe National Park. The lodge accommodates 30 guests in luxury cottages and offers a wide choice of land, water activities and wellness activities.

Game drives are conducted in open sided 4x4 vehicles ensuring maximum visibility, while game viewing on the Chobe River is conducted by small, shallow draft and highly maneuverable boats piloted by expert boatmen. Marvel at the diversity of the Chobe River including Africa's greatest concentration of elephants during the dry season.

Away from the excitement of the wildlife you can enjoy the ultimate spoiling at the fully equipped wellness spa. To add to your convenience is a library and communications center. Chobe Chilwero is a short drive from the legendary Victoria Falls and guests can enjoy a day trip to this natural wonder.

Days 3 & 4: Stanley's Camp, Okavango Delta, Botswana

After breakfast you be transferred to Kasane Airport for your scheduled charter flight Stanley's Camp. Set in an amphitheatre of Ebony and Sausage trees on the southern tip of Chiefs Island, Stanley's Camp sits amidst 260,000 acres of untamed and untrammelled African bush - outside the Moremi Wildlife Reserve.

Bordering the southern section of the famous Moremi Game Reserve -this private concession is located by definition in seasonal delta. The floodwaters arrive in June, though there is often navigable water all year round due to the presence of the Mboro River.

Stanley's Safari Camp is accessible by both road and air. Guest accommodation consists of 8 safari tents. The superbly appointed tents exude classic Africa; handcrafted beds dressed with the finest linen, antique furniture individually selected, and oriental carpets that give a delightful glimpse of colonial Africa for an adequate vacation. The living area is raised on deck to offer extensive views over the surrounding floodplains on your Southern Africa safari.

The structure has been built into the existing tree line; its main support being a large sausage tree. Stanley's Camp offers some of the best game viewing in the Okavango, including Buffalo, Elephant, Giraffe, Lion, Leopard, Cheetah and Wild Dog. One of the wonderful features is an educational experience with a herd of semi-habituated African Elephants.

Spend a day learning about the Elephants and observing them up close in their natural environment. Other activities available at Stanley's Camp include water safaris in mokoros (traditional dug-out canoes) and game drives in customised open 4x4 vehicles - including the rare opportunity of night drives. Due to the fact that Stanley's Camp is in a private concession, guests also have the exclusive option of walking with an armed professional guide.

Day 5: Depart

Depart on a scheduled charter flight from Stanley's Camp to Maun Airport.

All charters have been booked on a seat on charter basis. Due to the nature of travel in light aircraft, mainly because of safety and space concerns, baggage is restricted to 20 kilograms (44 pounds), per person. This baggage must be soft sided so to allow for it to be packed properly.

If you do have extra bags or have suitcases heavier than the specified allowance, please advise your travel consultant as soon as the booking is made so that the needed arrangements can be made for the baggage to be transferred or stored at an additional cost.
