The caves are a labyrinth of linked passages and caverns, which lead to bizarre rock formations, stalactites and stalacmites that reach up to 10m in height or length.
Tsodilo Male Hill
The Tsodilo Hills consist of four large pieces of rock. Bushmen referred to the biggest rock as the 'Male', the smaller one as the 'Female', and the smallest one was the 'Child'. The fourth hill was named the Male Hill's first wife.
